Sportsnet Scores with Responsive Design

Here at Usability Matters, we like to think of design as both an art and a science. But is it also… a sport?

Our latest case study tells the story of our recent project with Rogers Digital Media and the re-launch of sportsnet.ca into Canada’s first (and only!) sports website using responsive design.

In order to achieve the goal of a totally responsive site with the ability to scale the digital content from smart phone to tablet to desktop elegantly and effectively, Sportsnet was venturing into unknown territory. They were breaking new ground, and they needed an A-team to help them stay ahead of the game!

Sportsnet.ca is one of our most popular digital properties, Usability Matters brought years of industry experience, best practices and proven processes to the project.”

David Duncan, Creative Director of User Experience and Design at Rogers Media

We put our best team on the field, and you should see the results – a website that delivers all the content a sports fan desires, on any device! The new sportsnet.ca launched in March 2013 and has since experienced record growth in new visitors, engagement and mobile usage. It’s another home run for responsive design!
