Oh, technology. When it works, it helps people accomplish tasks faster, be more efficient, and overall make our lives easier. When it doesn’t, it’s frustrating, cumbersome, and worst of all, makes us feel stupid.
World Usability Day exists to celebrate the work user experience professionals do to make products, services, and technology easier for people to access and use.
In honor of World Usability Day this year, I asked some of my colleagues at Usability Matters what they wish was easier to use. We also hit the streets in New York City and asked people what they thought.
